The North Sea spa Neuharlingersiel is a community in Ostfriesland. Passenger and freight ferries run from the port up to three times a day Spiekeroog.
background
The place was established when the old Harlingersiel (today Altharlingersiel) was no longer on the edge of the sea due to polders, but moved more and more inland.
In the last few years Neuharlingersiel was present nationwide by broadcasting the local ZDF television series Doctor Martin.

By plane
The port of Harlesiel bordering in the east has a small airfield from which, among other things, the East Frisian Islands Baltrum, Langeoog, Norderney and Wangerooge are supplied. The Harle Airfield may only be approached by resident companies. Other aviation participants require prior registration and permission from the responsible aviation authority.
The nearest international airport is in Bremen.

The next train stations are in Esens (regional traffic every hour after Wilhelmshaven) and North dike (Norddeich Mole: IC / EC trains off Karlsruhe, above Cologne and Muenster; as well as from Leipzig, above Magdeburg, Hanover and Bremen). From there continue with the intercity buses.

A ferry from Spiekeroog can enter the port a maximum of three times a day. There is also a sports boat harbor.

In the village itself you can easily get around on foot or by bike. The car can safely stay at the accommodation or in a public parking lot. If there are no more parking spaces in the high season, there is still the possibility of parking the car in the Spiekeroog garages for a fee. These are located in front of the eastern entrance to the village and were originally intended for guests of Spiekeroog (motor traffic is prohibited on the island).
Tourist Attractions
The cozy one Fishing port forms the center of Neuharlingersiel. Despite the tidal fluctuations, it is navigable all day. This is possible due to the sewer system. At high tide, water flows inland and is dammed. At low tide, water is continuously drained, which means that there is always water in the harbor basin. In addition to around a dozen cutters, the ferries and pleasure craft stop a little further out. In summer, shanty choirs regularly play their songs on a small concert shell.

The over 200 year old one Seriemer mill was still active until 1975 and is located about 2 km south of the village. There is a small exhibition in the interior, which can be visited. There is a tea room next door.

Today houses the old one Sielhof a restaurant with an attached library, gallery and event rooms. In the 19th century it functioned as the aristocratic residence of the Eucken family and was only sold to the community at the end of the following century. There is a small park around the Sielhof.

- Boßeln - There are always opportunities to take part in the East Frisian national sport, which is reminiscent of skittles or bowling.
- Neuharlingersiel can be a good starting point for bike tours can be used through the hinterland or along the dikes.

swim
The Sandy beach is one of the few on the East Frisian North Sea that does not require entry. You can only swim at high tide. At low tide there are other ways to have fun, including beach games, a large water playground or mudflat walks.
Regardless of the tide, you can splash around or swim laps in the local swimming pool. The sea water indoor pool also houses a sauna and a wellness area.

There are a few boutiques in town. The nearest town with bigger shopping is there Esens. Otherwise there is, among other things, an Edeka and the camping shop in town. There is also a weekly market in the parking lot at the west pier.

New is a youth hostel that is located on the edge of the village and whose concept is different from that of the usual youth hostels. The DJH Resort describes itself as the first club youth hostel in the world.
