The medieval streets, the city wall with the defense towers, the half-timbered houses are worth seeing, time has stood still a bit.
- The 1 West gate was built between 1584 and 1587.
- The 2 City tower City tower was built in 1419 as part of the first city wall, with a tent roof, a lantern, tower button and weather vane.

- The 4 Karlsplatz with the town hall is the main square. The Old Forge, a gabled house with half-timbering, is the oldest preserved house in the village, it was built in 1242. The House To the Golden Eagle was first mentioned as a bakery in 1703, today it is used as a hotel.
