Northern Brazil includes the Amazon region and the coastal areas northwest of the Amazon Delta. It is a sparsely populated, tropical region with noticeable Indian influence.

  •       Amazon, occupies the entire west of the region
  •       Pará, in the eastern Amazon
  •       Rondônia, in the southwest of the area, bordering Bolivia
  •       Roraima, northernmost state in Brazil Venezuela bordering
  •       Tocantins in the south East
