Sobibor is a little there in the polish Voivodeship Lublin southwest of the border triangle Belarus and the Ukraine at the Bug, a tributary of the Narew. The place is not far from the small town Włodawa on the Włodawa back in the historical region Polesie in the Brest country. The memorial for the former is located in the forest in the municipality Sobibor Nazi extermination camp. In addition to the concentration camps in Majdanek and Bełżec it was the largest extermination camp during the Holocaust in what is now Lublin Voivodeship.

By plane

The closest international Airport is at Lublin. Other nearby international airports are the Okęcie Airport and the Modlin Airport at Warsaw.

By train

The place does not have a train station. The nearest major train station in Włodawa is over Lublin reachable.

By bus

Buses run regularly to Włodawawhere connection after Lublin as well as to other cities in the region.

In the street

The road network is being expanded, but it is still relatively thin.

From Berlin the A12 leads to the border Slubice and further than Autostrada A2 to Warsaw. There you change to the expressway S17 direction Lublin. It's not far from there.

Alternatively, from southern Germany and Switzerland you can use Prague and from Austria over Brno drive and then from the Polish-Czech border the Autostrada A1 take to A2.
