Łańcut is a city in Poland in the voivodeship Subcarpathian. It is especially known for its early baroque castle, which for centuries was the seat of the magnate family of the Lubomirski and Potocki was known.

Łańcut is across from the west Krakow or Rzeszów best to achieve.
By plane

The direct arrival by train is from Germany (via Dresden, Krakow and Rzeszów) possible.

The place is from the central bus station in Rzeszów reachable.
In the street
The journey from Germany is over Zgorzelec, Legnica, Wroclaw, Opole, Gliwice, Katowice, Krakow, Tarnów and Rzeszów possible on the A4 motorway. Coming from Ukraine on the A4 motorway is about Przemyśl, Jaroslaw and Przeworsk possible. The travel time in calm traffic conditions is approx. Five hours from Germany and approx. One hour from the Ukraine.

Tourist Attractions
In Łańcut there is one of the most beautiful Renaissance castles with Central Europe. It is located in a baroque garden in the city center. In the castle there is a museum with a picture gallery and a carriage collection. In addition, the early baroque synagogue and the parish church of the city are particularly worth seeing.

The Beskydy promontory begins south of the city, where the Beskydy Mountains, especially the Forest Carpathians, Bieszczady and Lower Beskids, connect. In the mountains you can go hiking, cycling, traveling, kayaking and, in winter, practicing winter sports.
