background

Albersdorf can look back on a long tradition as a holiday destination. This is already indicated on the entrance sign with the addition Climatic health resort displayed. Albersdorf used to be known as a steel bath across national borders. In the meantime, however, the spring has dried up - only the old villas in the upper town still bear witness to this time. Thanks to extensive forests and the proximity to the North Sea, Albersdorf offers a healthy climate.

For today's guest, Albersdorf presents itself as a small, cozy place, which, located on the edge of the Geest, is particularly attractive for nature-loving guests. One half of the place is surrounded by large forest areas and invites you to take long walks.

The other half is criss-crossed by agricultural use with a dense network of trails. So everyone can put together their own individual bike tour. There is always something to see in the many curtains or at the ponds.

If that's not enough for you, you drive a little further and can also achieve other goals. Thanks to its good connection to the A23, the doors to other destinations are also open to guests. You are in within an hour's drive Hamburgto a musical or that Miniature wonderland to visit. In the other direction you can reach the places pagan, Brunsbuettel, Büsum or Husum.

For around 44 years, from 1963 to 2007, Albersdorf was a notable location for the Bundeswehr. The former site of the Dithmarsen Barracks has been offering as Dithmarsenpark Investors the necessary infrastructure for the settlement of businesses.
