Great Wielkopolska loop - Große Großpolnische Schleife

The Great Wielkopolska loop (Polish: Wielka Pętla Wielkopolski) is a nearly 700 km long waterway in the central and western part Poland on the Greater Poland Lake District in the voivodships Lebus, Greater Poland and Kuyavian Pomeranian. It connects the catchment areas of via numerous rivers, canals, lakes and locks Or and Vistula. It is very popular with houseboats, canoeists, sailors and other water sports enthusiasts. On the Bydgoszcz Canal there is also another connection to the Brda and Vistula in the east and across the lower Warta a connection to the Or in the West.

Directions

The tour can be started at any landing stage. If you come by boat from Germany, you can use the Or and arrive directly by houseboat, kayak, motorboat etc. in Kostrzyn nad Odrą to begin.
