Route description with sights

This description assumes a north-south course. Of course, a start in the south is also possible.

Corner points of the route

Frankenberger Zeitung (start of the long-distance cycle path)
Idstein: King Adolf Platz
  • Hatzfeld - here the route leaves the Eder and leads into the upper Lahn valley.
→ Detour to Bagpipe possible 678 m high, observation tower with a small snack station
  • Wallau - the valley is left as quickly as you have reached it. It goes back up into that
→ Detour to Bad Laasphe or Biedenkopf possible

The subsequent Baden-Württemberg long-distance cycle path (Rhine Valley Path) is almost not signposted as far as Weinheim (data status 04-2006).

Note: If you are familiar with the route, remove the heading "Corner points of the route" and replace this section with a detailed route description with stages. It is best to simply work the place names into the stages. You can find instructions on how to do this here .

An example of a fully developed cycle route with stages is here to find.
