Rheintal-Weg - Rheintal-Weg

The Rhine Valley Path runs exclusively on the right bank of the Rhine and is a combination of several cycle paths in Baden, which are from the Kaiserstuhl away from the Rhine: Hochrhein-Hotzenwald-Weg, Oberrhein-Kaiserstuhl-Weg, Breisgau-Weg, Ortenau-Weg and Bergstrasse-Rhein-Weg.

The Rhine Valley Cycle Path is the Swiss regional route 98. It is identical to the Rheintal-Weg but only runs between Schaffhausen (CH) and Basel. It is thus the right bank of the Rhine part of the international Rhine cycle route. Swiss National Route 2 runs to the left of the Rhine Rhine route also up Basel.

In Germany, the Rhine Valley Cycle Route is known as Rhine Valley Path signposted. This comes from Constancy at the Lake Constance above Radolfzell and goes off Basel initially with the Rhine Cycle Route Breisach at the Kaiserstuhl, circles the Kaiserstuhl on both sides and then leads over at the foot of the Black Forest Heidelberg in the Mountain road to the Hessian Heppenheim.

Cycle sign on the banks of the Rhine in Basel, here the Europawegweg 6 runs, the Rheintal-Weg runs behind Bad Basel station
