- 1 Parish church St. Peter and St. Paul:
- A first church in Kössen can be documented for the year 1197, today's church was built in 1719 in the then contemporary Baroque style, the ground floor and the tower still come from a Gothic building that was consecrated in 1518.
- The frescoes and the panel paintings were created by Simon Benedikt Faistenberger from Kitzbühel,
- location: in the center of the village. Info about the church archInForm.
- 2 Maria Klobenstein Pilgrimage church (817 m): The church at the "Klobenen Steine" is named after the split, chunky boulders below the church. The first small Loretto chapel was built in 1701 on a former hermitage; today's pilgrimage church was built in 1732/33. The church is variously counted among the most beautiful pilgrimage churches in Tyrol, also because of its wildly romantic location in a legendary place and on a popular "smuggler's path".
- The Lourdes Chapel with the Lourdes grotto below the pilgrimage church was built in 1886.
- location: in the breakthrough valley of the Großache north of the municipality of Kössen, parking lot on the road to Schleching and just before the border with Bavaria
