Lenti, is a city in Hungary, in the county Zala, southwest of Budapest located.
background
Today's discoveries from Roman times are definitely there, they show the earlier presence of the Romans. From the time of the land conquest by the Magyars, traces of Slavic and Bavarian tribes have been found that once lived in the area. The first written mention of Lenti dates from the year 1237. A school was only introduced around 1770, and in 1890 the town was disconnected from the railroad Zalaegerszeg and Csáktornya touched and this brought a greater economic boom in the life of the place. It was not until 1979 that Lenti was named a city.

The journey from Germany:
- A3 motorway over Passau up to the federal border Austria at Schärding/Suben, continue over catfish direction Graz, Maribor, Murska Sobota/Slovenia and after Lenti.
- from direction Dresden on the A17 motorway to after Prague/Czech Republic. Continue over Brno to Bratislava and further after Mosonmagyaróvár, then continue in the direction Szombathely/Hungary and then Lenti.
From Vienna: Over Eisenstadt - Mattersburg - Oberpullendorf to Szombathely and continue on federal road 86 via Körmend. Shortly after the village of Zalabaksa, turn left onto the 7416 regional road directly to Lenti.
From Budapest: Via the M7 (Balaton) to Letenye, change to the M70 shortly before the Croatian border and follow it to the Tornyiszentmiklós exit. From there, follow regional road 7538 for approx. 20 km to the north.
From Zagreb: The A4 motorway over Varaždin and Čakovec Follow until shortly after the border at Letenye and change there to the M70. Rest like from Budapest.
