The Mainviereck is part of the wine-growing region Francs. This closes on the east side Main triangle on, south-facing Heilbronn-Franconia in Baden-Wuerttemberg, and on the west side of the Odenwald.
The western part of the area between Odenwald and Spessart is marketed for tourism under the name "Ferienregion Churfranken".
The "Räuberland" is a tourist region in the center of the Mainviereck around the moated Mespelbrunn castle.

kitchen
Detailed information on the Franconian wine see the article on the region Main Franconia.
- Meefischli are a specialty on the Main. They are small fried fish from the Main. Because of their size, the fish are not gutted (sometimes the head is cut off), rolled in flour and deep-fried. They are available without side dishes or with a mixed salad and tartar sauce. You can also drink a local Franconian wine.
