Nowy Korczyn - Nowy Korczyn

Nowy Korczyn is a historic city in the polish Voivodeship Holy Cross at the mouth of the Nida in the Vistula at the foot of the Heiligkreuzgebirge in the Nida-Pool. The city is in the historical Sandomirer country, a part Lesser Poland. The Jewish population, which in 1921 made up over two-thirds of the total population, fell victim to the Holocaust.

getting there

By plane

The closest international Airport is located north of Rzeszów at the Autostrada A4. Another international airport is located at Krakow. The smaller one Lublin Airport at Lublin is not far away either.

By train

The place has a train station that over Kielce is attainable.

By bus

Intercity buses run regularly to Kielce and long-distance buses to other cities in the region.

In the street

The road network is well developed.

The A4 runs from Germany and also from Poland Autostrada A4 means to the limit. Behind Krakow if you leave the A4 motorway and drive the Droga krajowa 79 along the Vistula direction Sandomierz. It's not far from there. There is a ferry across the Vistula in the village.

Alternatively, from southern Germany and Switzerland you can use Prague drive.

From Austria you drive over Brno and then from the Polish-Czech border the Autostrada A1.
