The most important airport in the province is the Leonardo da Vinci of Fiumicino, with an average turnout of 38 million passengers per year.
The second most important is the Giovanni Battista Pastine of Ciampino, used mainly by low-cost airlines, with around 4 million passengers per year.
Another minor airport is the Urbe Airport, located inside Rome.

With a turnout of around 150 million passengers a year, the Termini Station of Rome it is the largest railway station within the province. The main national lines pass from the station, some international, up to regional trains.
Other important stations are those of Rome Tiburtina, from which some High Speed lines and many regional trains pass, and Rome Ostiense, from where both the regional lines and the direct line to Lido di Ostia.

The province of Rome is crossed by five highways:
Autostrada del Sole, which leads from Milan to Naples;
Blue Highway runs along the northern Lazio coast;
Highway of the Parks, colleague Rome with the Abruzzo capitals of L'Aquila is Teramo;
Grande Raccordo Anulare of Rome, surrounds the capital;
Rome-Fiumicino motorway, colleague Rome with the Leonardo Da Vinci Airport.

Via Aurelia , touches the tourist resorts of Ladispoli, Cerveteri, Santa Marinella is Civitavecchia, crosses the Tuscany, to reach Genoa and the state border a Ventimiglia.

Via Appia, the longest and oldest consular, is a connecting artery between Rome and i Castelli Romani, Velletri, L'Agro Pontino, the Sannio and the Puglia.
State road 148 Pontina, runs along the southern coast of the Lazio, attralersa the cities of Pomezia, Aprilia, Latina, is Sabaudia.
Via Ostiense reaches the Tyrrhenian coast a Lido di Ostia, after crossing Acilia, Casal Palocco is Ostia Antica.
Via Severiana, connect the Lido di Ostia to Anzio, passing through the coastal towns of Pratica di Mare, Torvaianica, Tor San Lorenzo, Ardea, Lido dei Pini is Lavinio
