Historical curiosity
The Manzoni plague of 1630 did not interest Strembo. In fact, its inhabitants put in place such surveillance and guaranteed the town such isolation that the infection was unable to enter the town, unlike the other centers of the Valley.

What see
- Parish Church of San Tommaso. In the second half of the sixteenth century the church of San Tommaso, which was a small building, is mentioned in the documents. Small was also the bell tower, which with its 17 meters did not even reach the height of the church. The construction of a 37-meter bell tower in its place put an end to the famous jokes that the inhabitants of the other centers of the valley addressed to those of Strembo.
- The church was also rebuilt to a larger size in the mid-nineteenth century, with three naves. On the facade a fresco depicts St. Thomas martyred. The main altar is in Carrara marble; the altarpiece represents the Madonna with St. Thomas. The apse also preserves a painting by Saint John the Baptist in the desert which is nothing more than a copy of the famous painting of the same name by Titian.
- Capitals. The Capitals are buildings of a religious nature that were built in the countryside, along the streets, normally as an ex voto, but also to express one's faith. Often they became meeting places for the community recitation of the rosary or other prayers. In the territory of Strembo there are numerous these constructions of the faith that show frescoes often naively naive, other times of good workmanship. They are a bit the equivalent of Majesty widespread in the crossroads of country roads in the lower Lombardy.
- Frescoes. The frescoes that stand out on the ancient rustic houses are a characteristic of Strembo. Particularly well-known are the frescoes of the goatherd, that of the fire, of the conduct of the cows to the drinking trough. In addition to the scenes of daily life and the work of the agricultural world there are also frescoes of a religious nature, such as a St. Thomas Aquinas patron of Strembo or a St. John of Nepomuk.
