Czarnolas is a historical place in the polish Voivodeship Mazovia on the South Mazovian hill country west of the Vistula at the edge of Kozienice Heath. The place is in the historical region Radomer-Country, part of the Sandomirer Lands, in the northeast Lesser Poland. In the local manor house was built in 1530 Jan Kochanowski, the most important Polish Renaissance poet, was born. He is buried in the nearby Kochanowski Chapel Zwoleń.

From Berlin the A12 leads to the border Slubice and further than Autostrada A2 to Warsaw. It's not far from there.
Alternatively, from southern Germany and Switzerland you can use Prague and from Austria over Brno drive and then from the Polish-Czech border the Autostrada A1 take to A2.
