  • 1 City parish church of St. Vitus - The nave with its eight distinctive columns and steep cross vaults was built 500 years ago.
  • 2 Spital Zum Hl. Geist and St. Katharina - Opened in 1337 by Thomas Kürschner. The current building with a built-in church dates from the first half of the 18th century. The Spittalkirche was rebuilt in 1729 under the Elector Lothar Franz von Schönborn zu Mainz and Prince-Bishop of Bamberg according to the plans of the Prince-Bishop's court architect Johann Jakob Michael Küchel. The electoral coat of arms still adorns the church portal today.
