The bike path from is very nice Kulmbach to Kasendorf Thurnau to Neudrossenfeld on the old railway line of the "Thurnauer Bockerla" and on to Bayreuth.
Tourist Attractions
- In 2001 the 1 Tanzlinde in the district Peesten rebuilt according to the historical model. A wooden dance floor was integrated into the branches of the linden tree and can be reached via a historic sandstone staircase. Dance events are held regularly during the parish fair. - The 2 Pit churches in Azendorf is one of the oldest in the area. She is one of the few Grubenkirchen in Germany, it is carved so deep into the rock that it can be entered from the gallery.

- The Dr. Fritz Hornschuch Nature Trail is a circular hiking trail with approx. 9 km and approx. 280 m ascent around Kasendorf. You will find display boards, rock formations and beautiful views over the place.
- From the parking lot in Zultenberg you can go for beautiful hikes over the Görauer Anger to Görau or to 8 Niesten castle ruins do. It is a rampart with remains of walls by the Andechs-Meranians from the 12th to 16th centuries. After the hike, you can stop off at the Schöne Aussicht restaurant in Zultenberg. You should think of appropriate clothing, there is always a cold wind blowing on Görauer Anger, which can also be uncomfortable.
- The Magnusweg KU 64 is 23 km long, overcomes about 200 meters in altitude and takes about 7 hours. It runs from Peesten, center of Upper Franconia, paper mill, Döllnitz, Windischenhaiger wood, hammer house, Thurnau, Neudorf, Magnusturm, Zultenberg and back to Peesten
