• Marktschorgast station is at the upper end of the steep railway line Inclined planeon the valley side at the train station in Neuenmarkt ends. There is a difference in altitude of 158 meters with an incline of 1:40. There is an information center at the station building. At the building there is an overview board for the educational hiking trail along the route, which is provided with an information board. In summer there are often special trips with steam locomotive-hauled trains or historic railroad vehicles over the inclined plane at the weekend.
