Stadtsteinach is a city in the district Kulmbach in the Bavarian administrative district Upper Franconia on the southern edge of the Franconian Forest.

- The Grünburg, an early medieval ring wall

- The remaining parts of the city wall date from the time after the Markgräflerkrieg of 1553, when the wall was rebuilt after being severely damaged. The city wall was mentioned as early as 1439. The city's fortifications may have had 8 to 10 towers.
- The Rectory from the year 1721, attached to it is the coat of arms of the then reigning Prince-Bishop Lothar Franz von Schönborn.

The Stadtsteinach outdoor pool is closed when the outside temperature is between 18 degrees (measuring time - 11.00 a.m.) and when it rains. For sporty swimmers, the outdoor pool is open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on these days.

Paragliding: The Hainberg is approved for paragliders and hang gliders. You can start in wind directions from SW to NW. In a westerly wind, the slope is flown cleanly and you are in the air after just a few steps. When the wind is moderate, the Flugberg is also suitable for beginners. Starting point: 519 m above sea level, wind direction: SW-NW. It is possible to get to the launch site by car.
