Kurtatsch on the Wine Route(Italian: Cortaccia sulla strada del vino) is a community in South Tyrolean lowlands, it lies on the right side of the Adige Valley at the foot of the Mendelkamm and has around 2,200 inhabitants.

To the church 1 Kurtatsch belong to the factions 2 Clearly(Niclara), 3 Graun(corona), 4 Hofstatt, 5 Oberfennberg(Favogna di Sopra) and 6 Penon(Penone). The main occupation in the municipality is agriculture, around 600 hectares are used for fruit growing, while viticulture is in second place with 330 hectares.
