Margreid on the Wine Route(Italian: Magrè sulla Strada del Vino) is a municipality with around 1,200 inhabitants in the South Tyrolean lowlands. It is located on the right side of the Adige Valley at the foot of the Fennberg. The place is characterized by viticulture and fruit growing as well as tourism.

The municipality of Margreid belongs next to the main town 1 Margreid the district 2 Unterfennberg. The oldest house grape in South Tyrol can also be found in Margreid. It was planted back in 1601.

Fennberg with the Fennberger See
