Piaseczno is a historic city in the polish Voivodeship Mazovia in the Warsaw pool on the southern edge of Warsaw in the metropolitan area of the Polish capital. The city is located in the historical region Warsaw-Country, part of historical Mazovia. The Warsaw suburb has grown steadily in recent years. Numerous shopping centers and residential areas for commuters have emerged.
