Maków Mazowiecki (German: Makow) is a historic city in the polish Voivodeship Mazovia not far from the border with the voivodeship Warmia-Masuria to the Orschütz, a tributary of the Narewthat are in the Vistula flows out. The city is located in the historical region Mazovia on the Kurpie Plain in the Różan-Country. The city is known for its brick Gothic architecture.
