The egyptian Governorate Qinā (Arabic:محافظة قنا‎, Muḥāfaẓat Qinā) located in Upper Egypt (Egypt). It borders the governorate to the north Sōhāg, in the east to the governorate Red Sea, in the south to the governorate Luxor and in the west to the governorate New valley. The eastern part of the governorate extends into the Arabian desert. The administrative center is Qinā.
