Kemmern is a community in Upper Mainland between the Coburg country and the Franconian Switzerland at the foot of the Hatred Mountains at the Main in the district Bamberg.

The closest airport is the Nuremberg Airport a good hour's drive away.
By train and bus
The next train station is in Breitengüßbach, then continue with the bus.

- 1 The Catholic Parish Church St. Peter and Paul, Mainstrasse 1, is Gothic, from the 15th century, with a neo-Gothic west tower with a pointed helmet from 1838.
- 2 The Rectory, Mainstraße 2, is a two-story saddle roof building made of sandstone blocks from 1852, with a group of vespers from the former cemetery chapel, around 1660.
