Walsdorf is a community in Upper Franconia West of Bamberg in the Steigerwald, on the river Aurach on the border with Lower Franconia.

Tourist Attractions
- 1 St. Lawrence Church, Bamberger Strasse. It is one of the oldest Protestant churches in the area, the steeple is from the 14th century. Inside you will find an altar, a pulpit, a royal box and an organ prospectus. Also carved and painted wooden epitaphs from the 17th century.

- 2 Jewish Cemetery, Near Steinsdorfer Straße.
From the middle of the 17th century to 1851, the Jews of Bamberg were also buried in the cemetery in the west of the community. Today there are still around 1100 Mazewot (Tombstones) to see.- The 3 Tahara house. in half-timbered construction is located on the northwestern edge of the cemetery. The building was used for the washing of corpses (tahara).
