Heiligenstadt in Upper Franconia is a market of Franconian Switzerland.

The Heiligenstadt market consists of 24 parts of the municipality along the valley of the Leinleiter and on the adjacent Jura plateau. Veilbronn is 329 meters above sea level, the highest point is the Altenberg behind Zoggendorf at 583 meters above sea level.

- 1 Greifenstein Castle, Greifenstein 1.
It towers high on a rock above the village and is still inhabited today by Count Schenk von Stauffenberg. The castle can be visited. There are castle tours in the morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the afternoon from 1.30 p.m. to 4.45 p.m.; The entrance fee is € 4.00 for adults and € 2.40 for children aged 5-14. - The Leinleitertal (w: Leinleiter) is a dry valley. Dry valleys are valleys created by the erosion of the water that only have temporary or no more flowing water. The 3 Leinleiterquelle is a constantly pouring Karst spring, which is marked as a natural monument, its shallow spring basin is suitable for cooling off in summer. They are a big specialty 4 Porpoise, these are karst springs that pour only when the snow melts and after heavy rainfall, they transform the Leinleitertal several times a year into a river landscape.
- 5 Heroldsmühle. In the Leinleitertal with an old iron water wheel or mill wheel from 1916. With a diameter of 7.20 meters, it is considered the largest mill wheel in Germany. The drive of the mill wheel is special, it is carried out undershot by the stream and additionally overshot by guiding water up through a hollow stone column and thereby providing additional driving force.

- The 6 Big linden tree is a summer linden tree. It stands about 700 meters east of the Teuchatz district, right next to the road from Teuchatz to Burggrub. According to legend, it is said to have been planted on Swedish graves during the Thirty Years' War. Their circumference in one meter is over 8 meters.
