- The parish fair in Seussling takes place in mid-August
- The Altendorfer Kirchweih takes place at the beginning of September
- On the first weekend in October, the traditional pumpkin festival is held in the center of the village around the old chapel. Pumpkin dishes are offered, from soup to special pumpkin sausage. The highlight of the festival is the proclamation of the pumpkin king with the heaviest pumpkin.

- A trip close by Bamberg with its historic city center should not be missed.
- Memmelsdorf with its beautiful Seehof Castle is not far.
- The neighboring town Hallerndorf is well known for the Kreuzberg. There is a pilgrimage church on a wooded hilltop and at the foot of the church there is a huge beer garden operated by three different breweries, a paradise for beer drinkers
