Rybinsk (Russian: Рыбинск) is a city in Central Russia.

The town Rybinksk lies at the mouth of the river Sheksna in the Volga. Here the river was dammed into a huge lake, the Rybinsk Reservoir (Рыбинское водохранилище) is one of the 10 largest reservoirs on earth. When the lake was dammed, a number of sights were flooded.

- Ships operate from Rybinsk on the Volga on the one hand downstream to Yaroslavl and Nizhny Novgorod, on the other upstream to Uglich and Kalyasin.
- There is also a ship connection to Saint Petersburg. It leads from Rybinsk first through the reservoir, then the Sheksna upstream to White lake, then continue with the Volga-Baltic Canal to the Lake Onega, Ladogasse and finally to Baltic Sea.
