Heinersreuth is on the federal highway 85 between Bayreuth and Kulmbach. Arriving from the autobahn 
via one of the two Bayreuth exits and then through the city of Bayreuth, or from the motorway

The next train station is in Bayreuth, then continue with the bus.

Tourist Attractions
- The 1 Altenplos Castle was built around 1740 and was the residence of the Barons von Stein. The baroque building was designed by the architect Johann Friedrich Grael. Today the castle is privately owned and cannot be visited.
