Colima is one of the smallest mexican States. Colima borders in the north Jalisco and in the east Michoacan. In addition, Colima has coastline on the Pacific Ocean.

There are only two very small airports in the state of Colima Manzanillo and in Colima, of which the one in Manzanillo is a bit bigger and also has connections to the USA. The airports in are more important for the journey Guadalajara and Mexico City, whereby the onward journey must take place in each case by road.
