  •    Ibn-Sinoberg (former Lenin peak). the ascent of the Ibn-Sinoberg (7134m) is the ultimate dream for mountaineers who want to go above 7000 meters but don't want to get too technical. It is the second easiest seven-thousander (Muztagh Ata in China) there is. But make no mistake, the enormous height is a real challenge and if you do not have much experience it is better to climb the mountain in a large group accompanied by a guide. The technicality is much higher than, for example, the Kilimanjaro in Africa. You must be at least two (very experienced) to climb the mountain so that you are connected with a rope and can get your help in case of problems. You must have equipment (including tent and sleeping bag) of professional quality because of the cold and the high altitude. Ice boots with spikes are an absolute must. There is a base camp and several altitude camps. You also have to cross an icy river with strong currents to begin the climb. At times this is only possible with the help of horses.
