Biscay(Spanish: Vizkaya) is a province in spanish Basque Country. It borders the Basque provinces Gipuzkoa and Álava, to the province Burgos as well as to the region Cantabria.
Regions
The province of Biskaia is located on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, it is the second smallest province in the country after Gipuzkoa with an area of 2,217 km². Your length of coast to the Bay of Biscay is 80 km. In the interior of the country, the Cantabrian Mountains are a natural border and, at a height of over 600 m, are both a cloud barrier and a watershed.
