Location of the province of Burgos in Spain

Regions

The north of the province lies in the foothills of the Cantabrian Mountains. To the south of it the Ebro flows through it. In the southeast, the Duero rises in the Sierra de la Demanda, which belongs to the Iberian Mountains.

Condado de Treviño is a municipality in the province that, together with the municipality of La Puebla de Arganzón, forms an enclave within the Basque province of Álava.
