The province of Toledo covers 15,370 km², making it the largest province of Castile-La Mancha. The province has 598,256 inhabitants, only one in nine in the capital Toledo, which has 75,500 inhabitants. Talavera de la Reina in the far northwest is the largest city with around 83,000 inhabitants, 204 of whom live Municipios (Villages).
