Regions

Gipuzkoa is the smallest Spanish province and it is considered one of the greenest. This is due to their location in the Bay of Biscay, the Cantabrian Mountains and the western foothills of the Pyrenees. The coast, part of the Costa Vasca, extends over a length of 86 km. It is divided into 17 beaches, in the center of which there is often a fishing village. The green interior is traversed by several short rivers, which however do not dry out all year round like in many other areas of Spain.
