The Münster / Osnabrück Airport, also Munster Osnabrück International Airport, is 25 km north of Muenster and 35 km south of Osnabrück away on the territory of the city Greven.

The airport is a popular alternative to the Dusseldorf Airport, not least because of the inexpensive possibilities of being able to park your own car for a longer period of time.

By bus
Buses run regularly from the train stations Münster (7.60 €) (lines S50 and D50), Osnabrück (9.50 €) (line X15) and Ibbenbüren (line S50) (6.20 €) to the airport and back, see Airport information too Arrival by bus & train and telephone timetable information from the FMO on Tel. (02571) 943360. The buses are from Regional traffic Münsterland (RVM) or by the Osnabrück municipal utilities operated. There are also four-person and group tickets.
With the taxi
Several companies offer Taxi rides , sometimes at fixed prices or for people with handicaps. A trip to Münster costs around € 60.

Terminals
The airport has Terminals I and II, which are built right next to each other. The viewing terrace is located on the upper floor of Terminal I.

Check in
For some airlines (including Lufthansa) an evening check-in is offered from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. All passports, travel documents and checked baggage must be brought with you; some airlines charge a fee of € 5. With your boarding pass you only need to be there the next day 60 minutes before departure.
Parking / mobility
A total of 7,000 parking spaces are available. Parking tariffs
Short-term parking
Car park P1 is located directly at the terminals, it costs € 1.50 for the first 1/2 hour, € 3 for 1 hour and € 22 per day. There are also parking spaces for people with reduced mobility.
Long-term parking
It will be cheaper in the more distant multi-storey car parks or parking lots.
- Parking garages P A and P B cost for 1st-4th Day € 12 each and every additional day € 3. There is a doubly secured area in the parking garage P A, it costs € 5 per day.
- Parking lot P2 - P5 for the 1st-3rd Day € 8 each, the 4th-7th day € 3 each and each additional day € 2.
- Holiday parking on P6 costs for 1st-3rd Day € 5 each, the 4th-7th day € 3 each and each additional day € 1.
The parking lots are not guarded and there are no shuttle buses between the parking lots and the terminals.
Rental car
The counters of the rental car companies (Avis, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt) are located in Terminal I, the cars are opposite in parking garage P A.

Guided tours of the airport are offered every 2nd Sunday and 3rd Saturday of the month at 4 p.m., costs: 6 € / adult. and 4 € / child. Groups can also book their own guided tours on other dates.
Seminars against fear of flying are offered at the airfield.
The grass runway north of the runway is part of the SportFlugZentrum Münster Osnabrück and is used by the Aviation Association Greven e.V. used.
