The Middle Fulda valley located in North Hesse. The defining element of the region is the Fulda valley between Bebra and Guxhagen with its cozy half-timbered towns.

Note: This region is not congruent with the official "Erlebnisregion Mittleres Fulda" in order to get the To facilitate orientation for travelers. Felsberg is not in the area of the Fulda and is therefore the region Chattengau and Schwalm-Eder-Niederung assigned. Ronshausen clearly belongs to the Bad Hersfeld region and therefore belongs to it Waldhessen.

By train
The Kassel - Bebra - Fulda railway opens up the Middle Fulda valley. Regional trains run from Cantus. The route belongs to the North Hessian Transport Association NVV. The also drives from Kassel Regiotram line RT 5 the Fulda Valley Railway to Melsungen.
The next long-distance train stations with ICE connections are Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe and Fulda. A few InterCity trains also stop in Bebra directly in the region.

The highway runs about 5 - 10 km parallel to the Middle Fulda Valley. Select the appropriate departure depending on the location.
