Rentweinsdorf is a market in the Lower FranconianHassbergen approx. 25 km north of Bamberg and member of the administrative association Boars.

The station is in the Treinfeld district with a connection to the 18-kilometer branch line from Boars to Breitengüßbachwhere they join the main line Nuremberg – Lichtenfels connects.
Since 2006, two to three pairs of trains have only run from Monday to Friday from / to Breitengüßbach with a transfer time of 5 minutes at the station, all other trains run from / to Bamberg. Tourist Attractions
- 1 Rentweinsdorf Castle (in the town center). The castle was built between 1750 and 1762. It is now inhabited by the von Rotenhahn family and is not open to the public. The three-wing palace building stands a little higher on the foundations of an old castle. A few meters north of the castle is the round tower from 1880.

- The parish church Holy Trinity was built between 1600 and 1604 and is opposite the castle.

- The Hutsee behind the castle has existed since the Middle Ages and was then part of the moat.
- The village square with Village linden and long stone in the Salmsdorf district. According to legend, the landlord of Rotenhan held court sitting on this stone in front of the village linden.
