The region Lower Egypt (engl. Lower Egypt, Arabic:الوجه البحري, al-Waǧh al-Baḥrī) Located in the north Egypt and includes, among other things Nile Delta, the capital Cairo and the pyramid complexes in the Memphite necropolis.

The depression is located about 100 kilometers southwest of Cairo 1 el-Faiyūmwho get their water from a Nile Canal, the Baḥr Yūsuf, refers.
