Campeche (State) - Campeche (Bundesstaat)

The state Campeche located in Mexico on the Yucatán Peninsula. It is limited in the northeast by the states Yucatan and Quintana Roo, in the southwest of Tabasco. Part of the south borders Guatemala, but there is still no road connection there.

  • Most tourists only make a stop in the capital, Campeche. Here you can find Spanish colonial style paired with pirate romance as a world cultural heritage site.
