. for hiking and cycling in the northernmost contiguous red wine growing area.
- 2 Allgäu
. The Allgäu is one of the most popular holiday regions in Germany all year round. The landscape with its mountains, lakes and natural monuments offers a wide choice both in summer (hiking) and in winter (skiing). In addition, there are the world-famous castles as tourist magnets.
- 3 Altmark
. The traditional region for tourism is the area around the Arendsee. Riding and cycling tourism (Elberadweg, Altmarkrundkurs), for which the flat region of the Altmark is predestined, is gaining in importance.
