Ixkun has two large plazas that are surrounded by numerous buildings.
Northern Plaza: Structures 3 and 6 stand out here, which are up to 15 meters high. Several steles can be found in the plaza.
Southern Plaza: Here you will find an acropolis and a ball court
Apart from the central area, some buildings such as another acropolis can be seen from a 40 meter high hill. These are partially connected to the central area with connecting paths.
