Machaquilá is a Mayan ruin in El Peten in Guatemala.

Very little is known about this Mayan ruined city. The city probably flourished in the period from the 5th to the 9th century AD, with the high phase in the 9th century AD. Found reliefs allow for close contacts Seibal shut down. Sometime in the 9th or 10th century the city was abandoned for unknown reasons.
