background
In the winter of 1935, the doctor Thomas Gann found out about a ranch called Louisville on which there was a Mayan ruin. During the first excavations, he found 41 life-size masks that were colored red and blue. Thomas Gann described a plaza that was formed by seven smaller pyramids. The largest was facing southwest, where he found the masks.
