Witzinah is a Mayan ruin in Yucatan in Mexico.

background

The complex was only discovered in 1970 and has hardly been archaeologically investigated. The first indications point to the Chenes and Río Bec styles. That would indicate a late classical phase.

By plane

The nearest international airports can be found in Campeche and in Merida. From here it continues on the road.

By train

In the street

Of Merida drive south by car on MEX 261 to the village Muna. Here you turn left onto the MEX 188 in the direction of Ticul. This then goes over to the MEX 184. Shortly before the village of Catmis, turn half right and take the third street on the right. Follow the road for about 5 km, then keep left to follow the path for another 10 km.
