One UNESCO World Heritage recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO for short) as a place or places with common characteristics. These sites can be forests, mountains, lakes, deserts, buildings, architectural complexes or cities, etc., nominated by countries participating in the World Heritage Convention for the International Heritage Program World Heritage Site, recognized for its special cultural or physical significance and managed by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
